Tree found a big feather in my in-laws' yard yesterday. It's probably from the local falcon, or else an abnormally huge house sparrow. We added it to the collection. I thought that D*Con was in the south somewhere, not in Indiana. I am SO confused.

Dragon*Con takes place in Atlanta, Georgia over Labor Day Weekend. GenCon is a convention that takes place in three different places, one of which is Indianapolis this weekend. I've never been to it because I thought it was primarily gaming (I'm no gamer; the last game I played was this switch the frogs computer game that 2nd grade Chinese kids take - somebody it to me today!), but my husband said that there are a lot more to see and do than gaming. So we'll see. Plus Jamie Bamber (Apollo on the new Battlestar Galactica) and Kevin Sorbo (remember the show Hercules?!) are going to be there. You get off at 4:30? Lucky duck. Have a super weekend!

Now I remember you talking about Gen Con too.

I am hoping we can go to D*Con in the next few years.
