Tree found a big feather in my in-laws' yard yesterday. It's probably from the local falcon, or else an abnormally huge house sparrow. We added it to the collection. I spoke with Tree's team leader, counselor and asst. principal, so now I have a better idea of how things work and how I can help Tree to do her best, such as the homework hotlines ( Read more... )

Bun Bun Brown went to run the everlasting hills with the black rabbit last Saturday night. The rehabber said that his injuries were too severe and his shock too deep. I went out to the front porch to feed Alexander. He ate, and we played chase with a reed that had blown into the yard. The birds were singing like crazy.
