Yesterday was a happy day!

I finally made it back to yoga. Granted, I was late and soaked due to a thunderstorm and big puddles in the street, but I made it! My legs, arms and abs are sore now, but the relaxation at the end was total love!

My two buddies Lisa and Becky met me for breakfast after yoga! I haven't seen them for so long; it was so nice to catch up with them. I wish we could see one another more often, but this made up for the long separation. My friends rock; they are so cool and real, and I just love them to bits!

We protested puppy mills again! It was a small turnout on the east side, and I got a bit too overheated and had to sit in the shade and drink water toward the end, but it was worth it. Tree and her friend did a great job yelling and holding the banners. We got a bunch of designer bones with info about PetShopPuppies.org and some brochures to pass out to folks.

On the way home from the protest, I went through a wooded neighborhood and saw my very first Pileated Woodpecker, Giant of the Woodpecker family - at least in the states - and the inspiration for Woody Woodpecker. I was so excited I nearly stopped but realized another car was behind me. They probably thought I was drunk or crazy and slowed way down after that. I was freaking out and screaming...I couldn't believe I finally saw one. WOOT-WOOT!!! Then we saw three squirrels on that same road. They were in the middle of the freaking road! I kept slowing down so they could cross. Does this mean we're going to have an early winter or what? Freaking squirrels - they annoy me sometimes, but I would just die if I ever hit one.

I made spaghetti and Texas toast for me and the girls last night! Stormie passed; sometimes spaghetti gives him heartburn. We played Rock Band with the girl and then some more after they finally passed out. We had a lot of fun!

Tree and I had Chinese for dinner tonight - veggie lo mein and white steamed rice! YAY!!!!

Okay, I think I need to get to bed now. I'm being too stooooopid and loooopy right now. G'night!
