The hiccup cure I learned in Germany that works really well is to take a drink from the wrong side of a glass. You have to lean very far forward to do it and it requires a lot of concentration.

I’ve never tried that as my Mum’s cure works so well ;)

You are very graceful! I had to laugh, though - my first thought when seeing the phrase "fan dance" was of Sally Rand, the burlesque dancer.

You and Mr Cee look so happy and healthy. (I should really break out the Tai Chi DVDs.)

Thank you! Yes “fan dance” has a lot of connotations!! Lol!! This is a traditional Chinese dance.

We are keeping as healthy as we can. Neither of us wants to nurse the other through old age if we manage it!

That looks beautifully elegant and controlled and I love the use of the fans.

Travelling into London at the moment is a bit of a pain. We went in today and while we didn't have to use a replacement bus service (nightmare!) there were far fewer trains than we are used to from our station.

Thank you!

The bus service would have been OK but there are roadworks everywhere at the moment and the first bus driver was a bit of a maniac over the speed bumps! Lol!!

That was fascinating. I assume it was part of your Tai Chi? (I'm sure you talked about it and I just missed it).

Yes it’s a dance that incorporates a lot of Tai Chi moves and was supposed to used a fighting fan (made of metal). We’ve been learning it online.

On line? Oh, that must be difficult. I'm so intrigued by Tai Chi, thought. I really need to see what I can find on line. I don't think the class at the senior center is meeting again yet.

It was OK learning online as the teacher sent us recordings of the lessons which was really useful. It was interesting doing it ‘live’ as we’d not danced together before.
