In the afternoon we did some gardening and swept the front drive of all the little seeds one of the trees drops at this time of year. They get everywhere! We have a tree like that on my block. It's green seeds that grow on the trees, this time of year. The birds love them and they ten poop green which is extremely hard to get off all the cars.

These are little seeds that are incredibly light so they will blow everywhere - as they gather near the front door we all traipse them into the house and they drive me mad! Lol! Fortunately the birds and squirrels don’t eat them, but they end up on the windscreen wipers if you don’t pay attention.

The weather is really odd at the moment. We went for a walk this morning and got caught in a unexpected heavy shower.

Your garden is still looking very pretty. Gorgeous hanging baskets and I love the colour of the rowan tree.

Yes - rain wasn’t forecast today was it!

Thanks - I’m really pleased with how I’ve actually managed to get some colour in the garden this time of year.

That recipe book sounds fascinating! Even if you never make anything from it, a lovely thing to read.

Christmas really isn't that far off, is it? Ugh. I'm not sure whether to get organised or to assume it'll be different again this year.

The recipe book also has remedies for ailments but it does say that it’s probably not a good idea to actually use some of them! Mind you, a rag soaked with vinegar and put on a corn for 3 days does sound like an unlikely remedy.

I’m going with planning for a Christmas as normal as we can get. I’m hoping that I won’t be disappointed.

Your garden is looking really nice.

John and Johannes were very impressive. I really liked that dance, but there were quite a few really good ones this week, weren't there.

Thanks! I’m pleased that everything is really filling out now as most of the plants had to be bought smaller than I’d like (but the budget wasn’t large!).

I think there are a lot of dancers that are likely to go far this series.

The grammar made my teeth itch. LOL Your plants look lovely. We have little color here yet. Just too warm. Begonias are really worth the space, aren't they? So many colors to choose from. I love the peach. I don't think I've seen that one.

I do love begonias - they flower and flower and flower don't they? That peach colour is very popular over here and the colour you'll usually find people have in hanging baskets. Every day my Sumach tree reminds me it's Autumn. Today it's look amazing I must take another photo!
