A relaxed Sunday so far....

Today's forecast: 17C/63F Cloudy
It's about that warm and it's drizzling at the moment.

Yesterday it was foggy in the morning and very sunny all afternoon which was lovely! First thing we went to our local big town to drop off our Nespresso pods for recycling. They have a free collection service, but we usually drop off as we aren't using fossil fuels to do that and they use diesel vans *eyeroll*. Anyhoo it was nice to have a quick walk around the shops as we haven't been there for a while. We got a few Christmas things (I know!), some bits for dinner and by the time we got home it was much brighter.

In the afternoon we did some gardening and swept the front drive of all the little seeds one of the trees drops at this time of year. They get everywhere! The garden is starting to look very Autumnal - under the cut for a few photos. which I took today so a more overcast sky than there was yesterday afternoon.

The rowan tree with the Stags Head Sumach in the background. It's just starting to change colour but will be spectacular in a week or so.

Berries on the rowan tree.

My peach begonia hanging basket is still looking rather good.

I like this pink one too.

Last of the peach roses on the deck.

I divided the sedum last year and ended up with three plants from one. They seem to have enjoyed being divided and I have great flowers this year. Lady is sitting in the middle of the flower bed of course.....

Having been to Bletchley Park we rewatched The Imitation Game as it's on Netflix (recommended) and last nights Strictly Come Dancing was rather good (John and Johannes' Paso was amazing - deserved the high score and and is under the cut).

Today we've been out to an antiques fair at a local village. There were a few lovely things which I resisted buying! But I couldn't resist a little booked called 'Tuppenny Rice and Treacle' which is about housekeeping from 1900-1920. There are recipes from all over the place including Manx Buttermilk Scones, Mysterious Pudding and Dandelion beer.

Today we made a cheese fondue for lunch - I blame Richard Osman's House of Games as there's always a prize of a fondue set and we keep meaning to dig ours out. It was delicious! What's not to like about bread and cheese..... Now we are catching up with some TV we've recorded. I like a lazy Sunday :)

9. Do you have any embarrassing usernames?
Not that I'm aware - I'm quite boring with usernames.....
10. Have you ever did well on a test when you didn’t study?
The grammar of this question is annoying me, however - I always study - not always when I should and often at the last minute *g*
