Well, as of Saturday, we no longer have cable TV. Steve put up a kick-ass antenna in the attic to collect the network stations that are broadcast from a hilltop on the other side of two valleys, and he set up his computer to act like a DVR. I own a few cameras, including a compact point-and-shoot and a sort of bulky DLSR with several lenses. I (correctly) guessed that the DLSR+lenses would be heavier than I wanted to lug around France for twelve hours a day, and that the point-and-shoot didn't take as good of pictures as I would like, to capture the awesomeness of Paris ( Read more... )

Comic Con last weekend was very fun. We were awake by 4:30 both mornings and in line as soon as we could manage with six people all needing the bathroom.
