I fought apathy, writer burnout, and the realization that the entire setting of my story was wrong. When I had no plot I had characters psychoanalyze each other to fill pages. It's been a week since NaNo started, so here is my weekly word count update (that I'm leaving open for everybody to see). NaNo has been going extremely well, even though I slacked off a lot this weekend. I didn't write at all on Saturday and not much today, but I was far enough ahead that it didn't really matter.

So for the past few years I've been doing almost all of my NaNoWriMo stuff at ahryantah, which I also use as a private journal for back-ups of my writing notes and worldbuilding.
