My mom and I booked our tickets today (after hours of hunting down a good deal online last night)! We will be heading to the UK in just over a month. We'll fly from Phoenix to Glasgow, Scotland on September 29 and then head up to my aunt's on the Isle of Skye. We'll spend a few days there with her and then head south to see my other aunt in Matlock ( Read more... )

Wow, that is wonderful! You will have to take lots of photos ;)

I have yet to travel out of the country, and only have flown once. for my honeymoon. (Though I've been on lots of cruises!)

What are the fees for?

I think there was a "gas surcharge" of $140, the other fees were airport and 9/11 type fees.

I've never been on a cruise. Josh is worried he'll be sea sick.

We went on a cruise with Justin's school & the weather was terrible (that was when they were having all of those hurricanes).

Justin was throwing up the first day, but then he was able to keep down the pills. I had a bad headache for a lot of it, and so there was much time spent laying around in bed. Luckily, we didn't have to pay to go, since we were chaperons.

But, I've been on three others and never felt sick. If he is worried about it, the pills do work really well from what I hear.
