Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Although the day was a bit crummy (more to come, if I feel like it . . . but basically I was crying at school!) the weekend was fun. My sister and I went to Vegas to see the Cirque du Soleil LOVE! It was fantastic! I had never seen Cirque du Soleil before and it was really cool. There was so much going on ( Read more... )

My sister still has a bunch more. She was too tired last night to email them all. The wax museum was a bit too expensive for what we got. It was $20 for general admision, but we got the student price (with our fading IDs) of $15. There were about 150 figures but 1. we didn't know who all the people were, and 2. we didn't go into the horror section because she wouldn't let me. But considering how scary the regular wax people were already, and the loud noises coming from the horror section, I was actually glad we didn't go in.

I had actually seen something on Rachel Ray where they were making a figure of her. The interesting thing was that they only use materials that were used in the original museum, so they have very limited color palettes and not-so-white teeth. All in all, I didn't think it really looked like her, but the process & amount of work is pretty interesting.

Actually we drove which wouldn't have been soo bad. But there was an accident in Phx that cost us about 30 minutes, and and accident on the way back which kept us stuck in one spot for about an hour and a half!

I think the drive back was nearly 8 hours! It took us under 6 hours to get there!
