Wow! Never thought that raw food could look so delicious. Yesterday, I saw a rerun of the Sex and the city episode where Samantha met Smith Jared in that "RAW" restaurant. I immediately thought of you. (Cuz of the raw food, not the hooking with the waiter)

Well it's not 100% raw, but pretty close! I've never really watched Sex in the City, I'll have to look up that episode!

Ooh, I love the polenta fries idea! How do you think they would turn out without breading? I've seen polenta sliced up into wedges, baked, and used for chips (with dip) in a recipe before & have been meaning to try it. I can't believe it is the same thing as grits!

I don't know if the breading was for added flavor or to give the outside a bit of a crunch, but I'd say go for it!

Oh, and the breading I used was very simple. I just coated them in about a tablespoon of olive oil first and then gave them a really light coating.
