Kimono Style Top (Crafty Thing #8) and haircut

Last night I picked out some fabric from my stash and made a top. The last top I started I never finished because 1. it was complicated, and 2. it was too small. But, this pattern looked simple enough, with only 5 pieces and no lining. It is a kimono style wrap top by McCalls. You never cease to amaze me with all that you can do. Beautiful shirt. Also I like the hair. Play around with it & post the pics. I would love to see how you would style it differently.

cute SHIRT! Is it comfortable?

When did you get a haircut? I like it short, but I agree that when the lady styled Lily's hair under like a bob I did not like it. I need to take Lily back as it's not really the way I would have liked it..I wanted it to be..um..more stylish? I guess more dramatic with a long sharpness in the front and shorter in the back?

I have Friday off form work as the girl have the day off from school. I originally thought I would be heading to WR but don't think so as Nathan's family is doing easter stuff on Sat.

I LOVED dinner the other night with you guys!

So far the shirt is comfy, we'll see how it holds up next week when I wear it to work!

I got it cut at Great Clips. It was supposed to be longer in the front :(

We had fun at dinner too!

Very nice!
I've had a similar wrap dress/shirt pattern sitting around for year & have never gotten around to it (or, making anything for myself really!)

Can't wait to see your hair after you've played around with it,
so we can see what it really looks like.
Day-of-haircut styling is always bad!

I have been avoiding playing with my hair because I have been avoiding looking at myself in the mirror. The cut looks pretty stupid on me. It was supposed to be longer in the front. Grrrr!
