Ahh how cute! I can't knit or saw or crochet or anything. I'm more of a wood or metal works person :-)

Thanks! I never managed to get into woodworks - at home I was given a toolbox but forbidden to use it indoors, and in school I couldn't get past the "aargh, there are noisy machines that can rip my hair off!" So I pretty much stuck to things I could do in my own room, quietly, with no dangers beyond a pinprick. :-)

That's so cute!! And the embroidered picture on the wall looks lovely. You should definitely be proud of it!

Thank you! The embroidery was made from a pattern, so it's not something I thought out myself... OTOH it did take me nine months to make. :-) (Chekov only took four days. I'm thinking of making more characters.)

Nine months eh? That's my problem - I lose interest too quickly. But I really would like to make my own doll. I thought this one was very cute, but I doubt I'll be able to make it. It's been a very long time since I sewn anything. Maybe I should start with something easier. :-)

Well, I did lose interest from time to time. That's part of the reason it took so long. :-)

That's a very cute doll, though there doesn't seem to be a pattern ready. (Making things without patterns usually works best if they're very simple things or you have a lot of fabric to spare.)

You, the plushie, and the embroidery are all quite impressive.
