Canada Day - July 1st 2010

 For my fellow Canuck 'snowywolfowl' as promised. Sorry they're late.

We started off our celebrations at home watching the snowbirds flying over. After lunch we headed towards Ottawa parked our car on the Quebec side and biked the rest of the way across the river. Canada Day was in full swing and the streets were filled!

Thanks! I love Ottawa. It's a real shame I was never in town for the celebrations. I really wish I could have caught those one year.

Maybe one day you will! Ottawa does it up right I mean after all it is our country's capital city. When I was a kid there were almost no celebrations and Canadians exhibited very little patriotic pride. Boy, have things changed. Wonder what caused that change.

Ottawa's a great city though any time of year. I also love Montreal - there's so much there!
