It's actually a Bank Holiday today but doesn't feel much like it as I had my usual Paracise class this morning and there is nothing really to mark out the day. I seem to have spent quite a lot of the weekend on the phone with a long call to my cousin P, who is very bored but has had to isolate for months due to his serious health issues, my friend

You are the first other person I have met who used a left-handed nib! I'm sure most people I have ever mentioned such a thing to thought I was pulling their leg!

I can definitely confirm that there was such a thing as a left-handed nib :) I really did not like using it and used an ordinary one as soon as I could but they certainly existed, though probably don't any longer.

I didn't like it either - like you I found an ordinary one perfectly useable.

Apparently you can still get left-handed nibs, though I don't believe the market for them can be large.
