Nothing wrong with dieting, but please be careful. You know that already. I just noticed your comments on fasting. I think fasting, if you have the willpower, is great for a short amount of time, but if done too often is really a stressor on the body. My step mother's a nutritionist so my family and I growing up, were basically the test subjects for certain diets (like all things raw, high protein and absolutely no gluten in the house, fasting, no salt, so on ( ... )

P.S. Don't beat yourself up over it and don't think of anything as a diet. It takes a long time to adjust your habits and a long time to really lose any weight. I've lost 15 lbs and kept it off for about five years now and I really think it's just an adjustment in the choices you make. I notice when I eat things that are too heavy (even Italian food) these days, my body wants to reject it and I feel awful afterwards, so I remember things like that. Still can't give up chocolate. :-(

Oh, I suggest cooking a lot of Asian foods! I'll have to explain why later, but the right Asian cuisine tastes fantastic and is loaded with nutrients and low on bad fats. I'll have to give you some recipes.
