Last night I went downstairs to check on the cats and they were running around and I noticed that the lace curtain by the driveway was down.  I fixed and I did what at the time was right (yelled).  I went back to bed and noticed they didn’t come up for several hours so I decided to go and sleep with them.  Yep.  I am a weakling.  Tiger was sleeping ( Read more... )

I was really having a hard time sleeping last night.  I heard noises (besides the kitties purring) and for a short time thought i could hear mice.  I thought something was drinking the water (it wasn’t)and the noises I did hear were the alarm clock ticking.  I also think it was the brookside chocolates that kept me awake too.

I think flowers are beautiful and make things look nice unfortunately I don’t take care of them and the cats get to them.  I have the floral arrangement from the office on mantle.  I found sections of it on the floor when I came down this morning.  Its funny because until this week I figured the cats stopped getting on the mantle.  Wrong.  Right ( Read more... )

I have been up since 6 because the cats were exuberant and wanted their breakfast.   I tried to get more sleep on the couch until one of them knocked the coat rack over (you would think i would move it) and knocked over the lamp (again) not sure the light is going to work tonight. We will see.

Well we got something like icy conditions which took me  some time to get it done.  I did it enough so that I could drive.  By the time I got to the garage it was completely cleared out.  The snow was coming down harder as the day progressed.  It stopped when I got home last night.

Well I need to take a break.  I have been sitting in the same position for nearly an hour and half.  I managed to write out three cards so far and also update my contact list.  i also was wondering where some of them lived.  Its fairly quiet now.

Dear Mom,

Do you remember about a year ago when UNH was shut down because of a gunman?  Well  this past november the man who did it plead Guilty to Federal Weapons charge.  I can’t believe it was a year ago this week all  this all happened and shortly after the same event occurred at Yale.  Of course it turned out to be a hoax if I remember.
