We went to our local Relay for Life last night. It was--and I am not exaggerating--104 out. Down from the high of 105 earlier in the day. Usually, I am good for several walks around the track and hanging out but last night, I skipped the survivor lap because I was in the shade and only made three laps before I gave up and came home to air conditioning.
104??? That's stifling. I am glad you were able to do the three and then into the AC. It's about 87 now and I moved from downstairs to the bedroom with a fan. I am actually going to take a shower and hopefully get refreshed.
Our Relay for life is next month. I am hoping we don't have bad weather I think it was last year where there was a really bad storm.
