Work! WORK EVIL. Or at least it is when it gets in the way of writing.
Invariably, I came up with ideas when I was driving into work or driving home. And then, of course, I had to work instead of writing. Finally got to the point where I took a tape recorder with me and dictated. Still, was never the same as just getting to sit down and write when the muse hit. Sigh.
So glad I don't have to do that any more! I may be on call 24/7, but at least my schedule's my own.
