First things first:
The Sketch Book Project tours kicked off a week ago: first stop Austin, Texas (plus, visual map of the rest of the tourdates/venues
here). My submission is pretentiously asian, and filled with sketches that are incriminating in the style employed. But, regardless, I hope that somebody out there enjoys looking at it.

I am glad to hear there are good times along with the bad, though! Since naturally most of the time I see you flailing over something, it's a brief or a memo (and whether you've dumbed it down enough...) or general hair-pulling stress. The people go a long way towards making the whole experience not entirely shitty. (Oh my high praise, haha. But really, you probably know what I mean.)
Impressed that you are still writing! Will refrain from commenting about the Inception reading. 8D Though it's so true, the fandom is huge and prolific and has a wealth of goodfic.
GOOD LUCK WITH ACEN.

It SHOULD be better you for. It should always be better for you. You deserve better. I got a little worried that you got sick while in Singapore though. You're definitely better now though, right?
hahaha, I do know what you mean. Though truth be told, I miss my undergrad peeps most because the law school peeps just aren't the same. You're always on display, but there's this automatic wall that must be in place at all times. It's tiring, in a way.
I actually went through your archives and reread your thoughts about Inception just shortly before you bid the fandom goodbye. I find it kind of funny that the reason why I even ventured into its awning depths is because of your fics. |D Paradox! /bricked

...TELL ME THIS STORY ABOUT CREEPY MIDDLE-AGED KOREAN DUDES, I AM CURIOUS.
lolol Inception. I had a good time mostly while I was there, but oh the end was bitter, so bitter. It has tainted me forever. I will one day hit a point where I can look back with fondness, maybe. Doesn't matter though: as long as you are enjoying yourself! Every mental break from law school you need, you should totally take.

I WILL, I WILL. In fact, I think I might take up niifey's suggestion and start up the EF's chain emails...
I can understand the bitterness. It think I lucked out on never having to experience BNFery. Being too choosy with the peeps I talk to online is a surefire way to alienate the rest of fandom. lawl. But oh, oh, I hope you can hit that point one day too. I think SPN fandom was my learning experience for the art of navigating huge non-animanga fandoms.
(I see you've fallen back in with your korean boys. :'D)

ALSO OMG YOU'RE GONNA BE IN AN ART GALLERY! THAT IS SO EXCITING! WHEN I WORK FOR THE NEW YORK MET (hur hur hur) I WILL GO! LOOK! AT YOUR WORK! IN AN ART GALLERY!!!!
Can't you just do Pomoland stuff for the art convention, then? Or is that not protocol?
OH FANDOM. I TOTALLY FEEL YOU ON THAT. MY MO IS LURK MOAR. AND WRITE UNFINISHED THINGS. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! fandoms, in my humble opinion (do you know, whenever I see "imho" I always wonder which h-word the 'h' stands for), are best experienced via lurking. no drama! no pressure! just joy and laughter and occasional comments. also see: why AO3 is great and the kudos system is THE BEST SYSTEM EVER.
also you are amazing forever etc etc! I have an essay due in 3 hours and it's largely unwritten so I shall hie forth and strive to be as productive as you and mei!

Ahahaha, I feel like I should correct you now to forestall any major expectation fails. The tour is not so much a moving art gallery as it is a moving library. But OMG. YOU'RE GOING TO BE WORKING FOR THE NEW YORK MET? WHEN? HOW LONG?
Pomoland is a forever WIP, and... there's no protocol, really. It'd be easier if Linda and I did have something of a canon basis for it in place, that's for sure.
I'M WRITING ALL THE UNFINISHED THINGS. BUT I WANT TO FINISH ONE THING. OR TWO. THERE MIGHT BE PR0N SOMEWHERE IN THE MIX, BECAUSE HAHAHAHA, THAT ~inspiration~ is usually pr0ny. I mean. What? I blame the make-up of TV/movie fandoms. That's all there is to them. smut, smut, and plotty smut. I agree that AO3 is brilliant though. It's like, Pixiv. No hassle, no overtly public flail. The kudos system is amazing.
AND SO ARE YOU. Go on. Forward ye march, wot wot, cheerio. ;D

|D It does say that, doesn't it? Well, I also hear that we can request for the sketchbooks to be auctioned off for charity. |D
THE TIMELINE IS FLUID. IT CANNOT BE CONTAINED ON MERE MEDIUM.
Oh, are you surrounded by actors at all times now? You're right, you'd never know with such people. |D "Stamina" is another way of pronouncing motivation right? Pixiv is that japanese fanart site where you don't need to comment, but users can leave anonymous "likes/dislikes" or essentially rate the piece without having to actually interact with the artist. Perfect for lurkers of all kinds.
I'm glad no one actually talks like an insufferable mofo? LOL Have you seen this? This boy is amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dABo_DCIdpM

I know exactly how you feel about just not summoning the effort to blog- and you're actually more active in net socials than I will ever be (except for twitter, because the 140 character limit is perfect for people with tiny attention spans like me). meiface amazes me as well- you have got to be some kind of mutant to update your 4+ journals, flail in fandom, go drinking, have a social life, and go through law school at the same time.
I'm curious to hear about those interesting things though... maybe it's time to revive our long-ass EF email chains.:p Still, I'm glad to hear you're doing relatively okay.:D
I tried understanding the songs with my meager French knowledge but I am failing miserably. I love her voice though and the second song is just gorgeous.<3 ( ... )

♥ I'll let you know when I upload the rest. Hopefully whoever checks it out thinks it's charming too. /hopes!
I'll be sure to leave you another rambling message soon. Very soon. I'll still be in the city during the summer, so we should ABSOLUTELY HANG OUT. I'm also going to Acen again this year. Will be a zombie-eyed sweatshop worker the days leading up to it though, but after that. AFTER THAT...!`
