Verbal spewage on ALL THE FEELINGS

First things first: The Sketch Book Project tours kicked off a week ago: first stop Austin, Texas (plus, visual map of the rest of the tourdates/venues here). My submission is pretentiously asian, and filled with sketches that are incriminating in the style employed. But, regardless, I hope that somebody out there enjoys looking at it. Law school is a soul-sucker, creativity drain, time sink, etc. It's really true. I actually blog because I drive myself a little crazy in the head if I don't have some sort of outlet for all my ~thoughts and feelings~ but there's a reason most of it was escapist fannish stuff or tired whining most of the time. It's a little better for me now that it's my last year and I basically don't care, so.

I am glad to hear there are good times along with the bad, though! Since naturally most of the time I see you flailing over something, it's a brief or a memo (and whether you've dumbed it down enough...) or general hair-pulling stress. The people go a long way towards making the whole experience not entirely shitty. (Oh my high praise, haha. But really, you probably know what I mean.)

Impressed that you are still writing! Will refrain from commenting about the Inception reading. 8D Though it's so true, the fandom is huge and prolific and has a wealth of goodfic.

GOOD LUCK WITH ACEN.

;____; I stop blogging because there's just too much. TOO MUCH. And I don't know. The fact that I'm inherently really private doesn't bode well to the whole sharing of hilarious stories deal. It's tragic. (I have this one story about NRB and creepy middle-aged korean dudes that would alternatively crack you up and creep you out.)

It SHOULD be better you for. It should always be better for you. You deserve better. I got a little worried that you got sick while in Singapore though. You're definitely better now though, right?

hahaha, I do know what you mean. Though truth be told, I miss my undergrad peeps most because the law school peeps just aren't the same. You're always on display, but there's this automatic wall that must be in place at all times. It's tiring, in a way.

I actually went through your archives and reread your thoughts about Inception just shortly before you bid the fandom goodbye. I find it kind of funny that the reason why I even ventured into its awning depths is because of your fics. |D Paradox! /bricked

AHH CONGRATS AGAIN ON THE SUMMER JOB. ♥ Your hard work is paying off! Income-- ;A; jealous! Hopefully it's also a good way to figure out what you do and don't like about the actual practice of law, as it is so different from the bullshit of law school.

...TELL ME THIS STORY ABOUT CREEPY MIDDLE-AGED KOREAN DUDES, I AM CURIOUS.

lolol Inception. I had a good time mostly while I was there, but oh the end was bitter, so bitter. It has tainted me forever. I will one day hit a point where I can look back with fondness, maybe. Doesn't matter though: as long as you are enjoying yourself! Every mental break from law school you need, you should totally take.

IT IS SUCH A HUGE WEIGHT OFF MY SHOULDERS AND MIND. ;___; It's not a great income, but at least it's paid. I'm more excited about the projects I might get to do (CONSTITUTIONALITY OF SOCIAL NETWORKS. GENE PATENTING. I AM EXCITED, MEI. EXCITED.) I am all over this shit, seriously.

I WILL, I WILL. In fact, I think I might take up niifey's suggestion and start up the EF's chain emails...

I can understand the bitterness. It think I lucked out on never having to experience BNFery. Being too choosy with the peeps I talk to online is a surefire way to alienate the rest of fandom. lawl. But oh, oh, I hope you can hit that point one day too. I think SPN fandom was my learning experience for the art of navigating huge non-animanga fandoms.

(I see you've fallen back in with your korean boys. :'D)

oh god the korean boys. no, i refuse. :( i don't like the person i am in this fandom and-- i don't like the fandom at all. i am just in the chinese corner sjm occupies mostly; any venturing outside of that corner is only because i have friends who are still...into kpop...

we should do the email chains again! we could all use updates.

also, excitement? that is actually awesome. a change of pace, haha.
