Bang.

I don't know whether to like this show or not... it's certainly shaping up to be more of a "guilty pleasure" because I'm struggling to like it, yet I want to keep watching it. I guess the main problem is that there are quite a few popcorn action shows and this one just hasn't really done anything to stand out... well, beyond being a moe ( Read more... )

I just spent the evening catching up. It's winter, so my expectations aren't high. Its basically the dumping grounds for random stuff that would never air in another season. Plenty of shows haven't aired yet. I'll probably just check out as they air.

Maybe it's just the music, but this series feels far better than it should. The MC is pretty ridiculously happy and I kind of expect some sort of "break the cutie" plot... but on the other hand, it may end being the reverse ( Read more... )

SUMMER - first episodes
* Free! is the blatant fujoshi-bait from KyoAni. It's hard to predict what KyoAni will do, but they're a top tier studio so expectations for this series are pretty high.
* Love Lab is a comedy from the same studio that made Yuru Yuri and the first episode met my expectations. It's hilarious.
