Today was the BIG SPENDING day. Mel and I met in the city and went to Saturn (chain store that sells bigger and smaller electronic stuff). After looking around and reconsidering for some time, we had decided to buy our washing machine and fridge-freezer-combination there

Yes, it's not the cheapest type around, but more... middle-class? But my first own washing machine ever ^^;;;

With the current TV program, watching the clothes spin might even be more interesting!

Oh, that might be different in Germany and the USA? Though you are right there, the front loading ones are the only ones I've seen in price ranges up to US$ 2000... The top loading ones are usually the cheapest ones = they can't have that many functions etc ^^;;;
