LOL @Takki's English. But he was only a kid then. In the SP last Autumn, he managed to say a few sentences in ok English. Was easy stuff you need in hotels though ^^;;;

Takahata Atsuko played Takki's mother in the SP last fall. She must have a smaller part this time. Haraka Natsuki is pretty, don't know if she is any good.
Of course, I will watch this mainly for Takki. Ryo is ok, I have seen him in a couple of dramas, but he just had a supporting role. I would say that Takki will be formidable competition for him. Already Ninomiya had a lot more presence in Meteor Bond, tho he is not as nice looking.

Did you watch Ryo in Last Friends. He really made an impression there. Even though it was a supporting role - and an evil one at that - he was just great!

Looking forward to see him playing a nice guy. Hopefully he can pull it off too!

Yes, I did see him, and regretted he didn't have more space in it. That was a very interesting, well done drama.

He is a nice guy in Meteor Bound, but is eclipsed (no pun intended) by Ninomiya and Erika.

Btw, forgot to say your impression & elevation effect is indeed curious.
