Ich geb Dir was Dir fehlt...

Long time no see once again. Shit went down, things happened and keep happening. I left home, am staying at an acquaintance's while looking for my own place, which is harder than one should think, have now managed to get myself an apprentice position; apparently I can still talk to people and be convincing, and the fact that my cv is full of ( Read more... )

1000 things to do before you die, why is this my life, love is, *__*, bloody perfection, vampire stories, so cool!

AW, BB!! DO IT! Get a Tumblr... I cannot wait to see you there!!
So much time you don't write here... hope you don't get anger for the video stuff I posted. It was so silly and out of context and I'm so sorry for that, but well... I just saw a work of you spinning around and BAM! I logged into LJ and POW! another post of yours.

I went to Brazil last April, specifically Rio de Janeiro and Copacabana. I visited the Pao de Açucar and also Corcovado Christ... it was very wonderful and awesome...
Did you go to Manchester?? COOL! Seems this is the year of abroad trips... I went to Rio de Janeiro, another German friend went to Torino and you to Manchester...
Ha! The play seems interesting... hope someday can bring that to Chile, perhaps in Santiago Theater (well, in my city they opened a Municipal Theater, but it isn't so huge as the Santiago's one)

Glad to read you again,
peace!

Hello! Very nice to hear from you :))

I just can't make myself get a tumblr. It's just so overwhelming, and I'm not THAT social to follow all kinds of people - there are soooo many! - and who would want to follow me?! lol. Argh, I don't know!

(Don't think of the video, I've already forgotten about that, it's no big thing :) I just had no time and place to go online and be around here these last months.) You saw one of my works?? Haha, well, there are wonders x)

Ah, the Manchester trip was actually years ago ;) I don't get out that often, lol. Nothing quite like Rio de Janeiro or Copacabana or the other places you went to. That sounds absolutely amazing! I can imagine you must have had a wonderful time there :) It all looks simply breathtaking on TV!
Haha, the musical was in the US at some point actually, but it was made so... uhm American or something that it was not t all a success there. It seems they botchered and destroyed it totally. So sad.

I'm on the run (like literally running down the stairs just a second ago), but it's so good to hear from you. *big hugs* I have so many questions and I want to tell you exactly how happy and proud and sorry I am but I'll come back and do that on Wednesday.

You're amazing!

Hopefully you got to where you were going in one piece ;)
So good to see you here, I hardly had time and opportunity to check on anyone, so I hope you're doing fine, but it doesn't sound like that was not the case *hugs and thanks* Can't wait to hear from you again!

Hehehe, no worries, I was there and now I'm back again, very much in one piece I think. Also, should something have happened to me after all, it would have been my own fault. I have this terrible habit of checking my phone whenever I'm on my way of leaving the house, something's bound to happen one day... ANYWAY ( ... )

Haha! That's alright then, and also thanks, things will be fine at some point, I guess, even if it's tougher right now ( ... )

Still around! Life has been somewhat crazy and on top of everything my computer will need to get fixed so I'll have to work in other comps... :( but I will post an update as soon as everything's over!

Aw, pity about the computer... hope that's sort of better by now. I'm looking forward to any update you can provide, I was wondering what you have been up to through the months :)

I've been worried about you! I'm sorry things have been difficult, but I'm glad to see you back in communication. I was just talking about how I saw "Dance of the Vampires" when it was on Broadway and how it was the worst thing I'd ever seen! I always hear the original German show is amazing. I guess it's not a big surprise that once it was Americanized, it was turned into a silly, hokey mess. I saw it with Michael Crawford, and my love and respect for him only made it worse when his character died... apparently by being burned from the crotch out. There was smoke slowly billowing from between his legs until they were able to make him 'disappear' with some clunky staging. I'd say look at the youtube footage for a laugh, but I don't want to ruin Tanz Der Vampire for you! So, I'm glad your sister came through and you had a great time and that you were able to see the musical as it was meant to be seen, and not the hot mess I saw!

I'm very sorry I did not at least post some notice here, it's hard to grasp that anyone would actually wonder where one is if one doesn't show up every now and then. Which is weird since I've been worrying about people who disappeared a lot before. I hope I can be back in full force and do some catching up.. yeah, catching up seems to be all I ever do. I'm very very glad to hear from you ( ... )

We have a thing in America where everything must be able to "play in Peoria" as in it must be accessible to EVERYONE. By the time it is dumbed down for everyone, it's appealing to no one. I saw a traveling version of the show "Jeckyll and Hyde" and was in love. Then I saw it on Broadway and they had gotten rid of all the really dark humor, the darker sexuality and the moral ambiguity. It was an okay show, but it had lost everything that made it special. I'm sure the same thing happened to Dance of the Vampires. Of course, it bombed on Broadway, because the majority of Broadway fans aren't from tiny towns in the midwest. They're from New York and they want to see good theater!

I did miss you and worry about you. I didn't want to reach out while I was trying to find a big bang artist and just seem like I was worried about myself. I love your artwork, but I love you more! I'm glad you're back and I'm always eager to see your new drawings.

Ah, I heard about that phrase. It's sad if one feels the need to even out all uncomfortable and edges and spiky, nonconformist bits of weirdness to make anything appealing so it sells... And it strikes me as weird, because the underlying idea is somewhat more socialist in nature, though in a rather very negative sense. But I think I may also be making connections where there are none ( ... )
