Even though she was told to leave, Yachiru still wanted to see what happened. She also wanted a chance to grab those keys dangling from Dragon-lady's waist so she could go free Ken-chan. Moving away slightly, so that she was out of immediate view but could still see, Yachiru pressed herself tight against the wall to watch what might happen.

She figured if it came down to it and it looked like Dragon-lady was going to hurt Kingy, she would attack her. Having been in fights with Ken-chan, she knew how to throw herself into the fray to create a diversion with minimal damage to herself.

Sliding out just enough for Kingy to hopefully see her, she flashed him a quick smile and a thumbs up, showing she was ready to act if needed.

"They aren't my people!" she retorted. "It's not by my choice that he's been diagnosed as genuinely psychotic, or that he's locked up." Hands balling at her sides, she resisted the urge to hit the door with a well mannered fist. One, it would hurt regardless of how strong she was, and two, she didn't want to give the one on the other side of the door any satisfaction in knowing she was more riled up than what must already evident.

"Truth? You're kidding," Tatsuki muttered the last part with no little disgust. Did he really think that? And could she fault an insane person for this type of logic? By law, oddly enough, she couldn't. But then, Tatsuki had grown up making her own rules; it started with no frilly dresses and ended with beating the crap out of her male peers, but that was another story.

“I am being nice.”.

"No," she said, tone quiet now as she unclenched her hands. "No, I don't think you've ever known what 'nice' is."

And that, she felt, was the blunt and unfortunate truth.

”Is that a good excuse for yelling at a little girl, dragon? I think not…”

He said, smiling behind the door. He could almost hear her frustration in her voice and it amused him to no end. It was so very easy to play this game when every one was walking straight into his hands. It was a puppet show and he was the puppeteer, cutting off each string to the puppets with mere words.
Sticks and stones, sticks and stones.

When she continued to speak, however, a frown appeared on his face. Kidding? No, he was not kidding. But she was right - he didn’t know. He had never really known what ‘nice’ was and probably never would. He didn’t carePutting his fingers on the small window in the thick door, still bandaged, he grinned again ( ... )

"Fuck off!" was her civil retort; her uncivilized one was much worse, but far too long to take the time to state. Eyes wavering to his fingers, she looked away, scope of vision narrowed to this small space. How he could grin like that, how he managed, it was all beyond her, Tatsuki would admit. She would probably never understand ( ... )

He drew in air between his teeth, letting out a hissing sound as he saw her check the lock.
Oh joy. Now she’d PAY!
Tensing all the muscles in his body, he grabbed the door handle and slammed the door straight out, putting all of his body weight and strength behind it. The door rammed out into Tatsuki with the force of at least two grown men, since he was caring not the slightest that he hurt her… or himself, his shoulder taking some damage as he used it to force up the door.

“HYAHYAHYAH! Stupid, foolish bitch!”

He said, stepping out of his cell, rolling his injured shoulder a little with a sickening grin in his face and wide, excited eyes. He was outLooking at Tatsuki, he had an almost overwhelming lust to kill her right there, but that would mean that he’d draw a bit more attention then he wanted. Yet ( ... )
