I started at Lusher yesterday, as a teacher's aid in Kindergarden. Today was the first day with kids and they were so cute! Go figure... I just checked my email and I got an interview at the MOST prestigious international school in Santiago. AND I AM LEAVING TODAY! I am trying EVERYTHING to stay here. I brought my resume to every single school in the phonebook that offers English courses, but no luck so far. The one place that I have not gotten to bring one to yet is an American preschool. I really, really want to get that one. They are closed for summer vacations now so I need to go back on Monday. It looks like we are coming back next month. I haven't been able to get a job in this overcrowded city. It really sucks and I am not ready to go home at all. I am not even fluent in Spanish yet!

I was going to put some pictures up and even logged into photobucket but...
there is no drive on the computer for my disk! That sucks!
But not nearly as much as the girl next to me who is screaming into her cellphone.
Dammit.

We left town on Friday at about 1:00, heading for Curico to meet up with Alejandro's parents. We had some car problems on the way down, but it was just a thermostat issue that was easily fixed for free at a gas station.
