Yeah, it's not exactly great marketing when your target market goes "ick" when they see the ad.

I didn't register this until I went back to look more closely at the guy's shoes (you know in case I'm supposed to be identifying with him rather than the dead woman) but in addition to the sexist "dead girl" theme we also have the racist "murderous black man" theme. Awesome. Now I want two pairs!

You're missing the subtext. Observe the naked passion with which the female corpse stares at the man. It's obvious that, moments after the photo, the woman, now a zombie, climbs out of the trunk, stabs a hole in the man's skull with one of those sexy high heels, and sucks out his moist, quivering cerebellum.
