For various reasons I'm not really writing on LJ much anymore. I suspect my life would be better if I were actually journaling again, but I think were I to do so I'd probably want to do it privately, perhaps even with pen and paper the way I used to.

I'm still in shock about the house. I keep finding myself thinking "was X or Y still there?" It's not even a particularly rational response given that most of my stuff had already been moved and I do have insurance so if I felt like what was still there had sufficient monetary value I could put in a claim.
