"I guess, yeah. Kinda weird, huh?" Goku laughed, good-naturedly.

He cast a glance over Hakkai, sniffing in his direction. Satisfied that he didn't smell like he was bleeding afresh or otherwise wounded gravely, Goku pointed in the westerly direction where he had arrived from moments earlier.

"It's this way."

Goku started walking at a leisurely pace, leading the way through the flowery fields of Himorogi toward town.

"Hey...Hakkai?" he began, unsure how to phrase his question exactly.

Hakkai fell into step with the boy, his eyes casting about to try to take in their surroundings, try to find a reference point somewhere.

There had to be some way to figure out just where they were. But if Goku was right, and it was like being in that gourd, then this world could be whatever the owner chose to make it.

Still, typically a person of a certain culture or climate would set their personal dimension up in ways that were intentionally either familiar to themselves, or their culture, or... something. There had to be some kind of clue, didn't there?

"Did you need something?" he asked Goku, turning to him with a smile when he realized the young man had said his name.

"When I was um...passing out, I thought I heard Sanzo firing his gun. I thought maybe he was fighting whoever it was that tried to kill me," Goku said, creasing his brow as he tried to recall what was happening around him after his attack. He remembered the smell of cigarettes, smokey and bitter mingling in with the salty scent of blood. But try as he might, he could not remember anything of Sanzo after his transformation.

"He's okay, isn't he? Where is he now?" His attack had been so vicious and precise - he didn't even know if Sanzo had been hurt, too. Sanzo could take care of himself. Goku knew that, but he still worried.

"He was phsyically just FINE when I saw him," Hakkai said, with a little snort. That was about all he could say was 'fine' about Sanzo though, considering that when he'd last seen the man, he'd had to slap him to get him to snap out of it. Had to order him away from Goku so that he could make an attempt to save the young man's life.

He shook his head, a little. "I'm sure it'll be all right, Goku. Gojyo isn't here, right? So he must still be there with Sanzo. I'm sure they'll be fine."

"...okay." Goku smiled, the worry lifting from his features. Hakkai was right - Gojyo and Sanzo would be fine. (So long as they didn't kill each other, first).

This was almost a comical repetition of the gourd scenario, where Goku and Hakkai were trapped in another 'dimension' while Sanzo and Gojyo tried to fetch them back to the real world. Goku thought they'd had a sucky situation - being separated from his body was freaky business - but apparently, it was infinitely worse on the other side. He'd heard all the gripes about their ordeal when he got back - Sanzo and Gojyo both snarked non-stop about how intolerable they had found each other's company.

Goku found it somewhat funny. He also thought that the two of them fought so much because they were actually pretty similar in personality, but he knew they'd both violently oppose that idea.

"Maybe they're lookin' for us, like last time," Goku said, grinning a little.
