"Well, I really thought I'd be an investment broker or something." Gau pouts a little, because really, a bakery? But owning his own business is cool, isn't it? And apparently he's friends with a... samurai, though that's still breaking his brain more than a little.

"I always tell okaa-san that I'm going to invest wisely and get really rich and support her!"

He might be blocking out what Raikou told him about his mother, just a little, here. But he doesn't miss Juudai's eyes on the cake. "Would you like to share with me? I have enough!"

An... investment broker.

{ What an interesting child, Yubel comments. He must be the exact opposite of you in every possible way. }

Well, he offered to share the cake.

{ Like I said. }

Ignoring that, thanks. To Gau, he says, "Are you sure? I mean, it's your cake." On the other hand, the bread might take a little while, since they have to bake more...

"Mmhmm! Raikou-san is busy with Elder-sama, so I have plenty of time! And I don't mind sharing the cake!"

Gau jumps up and down a little even at the idea, and then grins a little.

"But eating together is something friends do, so if you're going to share my cake, we have to be friends! Will you be my friend?"

Juudai grins. What an adorable kid.

"Of course I'll be your friend!"

He kind of hopes Gau will remember this when he grows up, too. At least a little, maybe. Gau seemed to know a lot more about Kannagara than most of the others that Juudai has met so far.

"Great!"

Gau smiles happily, waits for the man to get his food, tapping his foot a little impatiently. One hand goes up to straighten his little tie, even.

"We should go outside to the beach somewhere and eat it. Like a picnic. Unless you need to hurry home with your food?"
