Summary: Juudai goes to the bakery for food and ends up babysitting again. This can only be solved by one thing.... Children's Card Games.

Gau is on a very important errand. In fact, because he is such a good big boy, Raikou has sent him all by himself from the village elder's home to the bakery, in order to purchase a treat. This is pretty exciting, considering so far Raikou has been pretty protective of him, even allowing him to move around on his own less than his mother had at home.

And despite knowing that he is supposed to be an adult, and all that... he can't help the pride that he feels over such a simple errand. Only big boys are allowed to do things like that! He has money in his pocket and everything.

So when he bumps into someone on his way into the bakery, he blinks up at him rather distractedly, as if he can't seem to figure out what happened. "Hey!"

Juudai has been bumped into by one (1) small child! Oh, right, maybe standing still in the doorway of an establishment is a bad idea. He'll just move aside a bit, there. "My bad, excuse me," he says, glancing down.

Why does he look familiar?

Not to be creepy, but Juudai has found himself staring intently at the back of this kid's head, trying hard to place where it is that he's seen him before.

Normally, Gau would have a 'watch where you're going!' or an 'are you stupid?' for an adult who was doing something like that, but in this case... well, this person has properly apologized right away.

He even talked to him like an adult!

So of course Gau puffs out his chest a little more, turns to look at the man, and offers him a smile.

"I'm gonna get the strawberry vanilla cake! Raikou-san says that's my favorite!"

Raikou-san... Raikou... Right, Samurai Guy With Pink Hair #1. (Juudai hasn't seen Samurai Guy With Pink Hair #2/Kenshin lately, so it's probable that he's gone. Aww.)

Wait, Juudai knows of a guy fitting this kid's description who hangs around with Raikou.

"...Gau?" he asks, snapping his fingers as if he had just remembered something.

Gau blinks a little at that, and then nods.

"That's me! So you knew the big me too, right!? And you know Raikou-san!? He's really awesome!"

Gau bounces on his heels a little, obviously excited to find someone who knows him. In fact, he's not even concerned with going up and ordering his food.
