RIN + MARCO + MAYBE ISKIERKA? revengeisalie October 2 2010, 22:43:00 UTC
[Sometime during the day, Rin shows up. She has Marco in tow, and somewhere, Iskierka is also around, but Rin is kind of running a bit ahead now, first rushing to the central area to hopefully get an overview of the whole thing. Not with a lot of success, because the many people there are coming in bunches and obstructing the view.

This is currently not dampening her mood in the slightest. It's been a long time since she's been to a real festival, and she's absolutely determined to enjoy it as though she were twelve again. Since money is not going to be a big issue, she's going to stuff herself, she's going to play all the games, and maybe she'll even buy a trinket or two.

She just hopes Marco has nicer things to say about hair ornaments than a certain other man in her life.]

[Marco looks around, still surprised at this entire . . . thing.

But he's not going to complain about it, really.]

What you think we should do? This is more of your scene than mine.

[Rin turns around to Marco, beaming with excitement.]

I don't know about you, but I'm going to do everything.

ALLEN! Probably noonish. You saw this coming whitenighting October 2 2010, 21:50:26 UTC
[Of course there's a white-haired Exorcist that's bee-lined here. Where else would you expect him to first go after he's spent months trying to budget enough for his massive appetite after getting used to the Order covering his meals.

And oh, of all the places to end up... ... someplace with mitarashi dango isn't so bad. Give him his moment of being sort of okay with everything, alright. Sometimes it really is the little things.

He'll be happily showing his Hitomi to the merchant each time he finishes making a new batch, thank you. Apologizing when the man just stares at him for where it all goes around number 15, but unabashed and smiling pleadingly about it.]

[Allen you might only have a few seconds chance to hear the pattering of little feet getting closer, and closer, and closer, until a small but powerful force takes you down in a bumbling handsy glomp - Yoite pouncing directly at your stomach]

ALLEN-SAN!

[No, although his danger sense did start tingling for a second there. AND DANGO GO FLYING.]

Y-Yoite?!

[After landing hard with an umph, Allen's now staring at you now like you've grown a second head.]

[ An attractive woman, dressed in a rich red kimono with her hair pinned up in the local style, is trolling about the various merchant stalls, haggling with their keepers after flashing her Hitomi... and occasionally something more scandalous, when so inclined. Whoever she is, she doesn't appear to have much in the way of modesty. Better watch your step, or she might just run into you with her head in the clouds. ]

Have an Exorcist? (lol ignore TL;DR) whitenighting October 3 2010, 16:12:19 UTC
[Perhaps he stands out a little bit - just about everyone here is dressed in asian garb - and Allen Walker most certainly is not with a black and red military jacket, slacks and boots. But then, that is the point. Even without akuma, even with distrust of the Order, it's become an ingrained thing; stand out (though not too much; the coat is one thing, but he'd rather people not stare at him for his hair or Timcanpy) so that he's the target if anything should happen.

Except maybe he stands out a little too much, he realizes with a sheepish chuckle at noticing a child staring and pointing at him and the silver cross on his chest.

Although, ah, he would seem to have lost his companions in the crowd again. ... Perhaps Yoite would be with Lenalee, though, and not off drinking things he shouldn't.

His Hitomi stays firmly stowed away one of the pouches on his belt, though. For now. Aside from the promise of free food because he was not going to pass that up, the idea of getting free things... Well. Allen had already been burned badly on ( ... )

I'm always a fan of the teal deer, no worries. <3 cursetheking October 3 2010, 17:04:33 UTC
[ Had her eyes not been fixated on the flashing screen of her Hitomi, a collision might've been avoided. C.C. grunts a little when she feels a heavy weight smack against her chest, and... oh, dear, that was somebody's head. Poor thing. She's not really ruffled, however, blinking down at the young man with impassive eyes. ]

Something on your mind, boy?

[ There had to have been, for him to be so clumsy; obviously the accident was all his fault, as this witch could do no wrong. She doesn't seem inclined to move, either, mouth spreading into a slight smirk once she gets a better look at him. ]

My, my. Aren't we handsome?

[ Rather than lean away, she opts to lean closer. ]

I don't believe we've met before...

The trouble with being a dragon was that it was very difficult to enjoy human-scaled entertainment. She was far too large to purchase any of the goods or take any free handouts, though she would have liked to have something shiny to hang around her neck. The food was tasty, to be sure, but she only got a brief taste of anything, as much more than that would eat the poor vendors out of house and home. And, not to mention, most people were scared of her, simply because she was so large and could possibly eat people in one bite. She wouldn't, of course, but the people here had no way of knowing that ( ... )

The trouble Roy found by hearing that voice was that as encouraging as they were, they were still from this massive beast that, by all rights, shouldn't exist. And there was the problem with the fact that she, it did not seem to be bothered by being surrounded by humans. Then again, Roy hadn't completely dismissed the 'being knocked out' theory. Considering the company he had when he seemed to 'black out', it was entirely possible he forgot a short joke and an automail fist in his face.

"You're awfully friendly. Giving advice to players isn't against the rules?"

Not that he knew or anything. And talking to this creature seemed even less strange than talking to it over the strange 'Hitomi' device. Dreams were funny that way, weren't they?

"Nobody has complained about it yet," Iskierka said simply, and the real answer was just as simple: most of the people running the games were far too terrified of what a large fire-breathing dragon might do if angered. Putting up with her words is a lot easier.

Though it wasn't as if her words of encouragement helped much. They still did as good or as bad as they would have normally, it was just that they had an extra person watching.

Lenalee wanders through the street, stopping to glance at various stalls but not flashing her Hitomi to claim anything yet. Her house really doesn’t have the room for knick-knacks, and she would probably be too practical to take many even if it did. But still, it’s fun to look. She can’t remember the last time that she saw this many people around.

She is perhaps a little bit lost in the crowds, but not in a worrying way. It’s hard to shake her natural discomfort at being surrounded by so many people- well, impossible, really. Even if she knows that akuma don’t exist here. But even so, there is a sort of charm to it all.

Break on the other hand is abusing his Hitomi to get freebies for every single thing that catches his eye. So the device has other uses beside the ones displayed so far. Even though this is a one time thing, that is just all the more reason to take advantage of it

Now he is walking around humming a chippy tune as he looks around the many stalls he still hasn't visited. That's when he spots Lenalee up ahead. Oh splendid. Nothing more fun than shopping with a friend yes?

So with a jolly skip in his step the man makes his way over to the girl, navigating his way skillfully through the crowd despite holding a bag or two of souvenirs.

"Lady Lenalee! I was wondering when I might bump into you this fine day" Break announces his presence cheerfully with a wave for the final steps till he's close to her.

Lenalee glances over at him, smiling in return. A familiar face is nice, even if she's still not quite certain what to think about Break.

"Hello. It seems that most people are over there taking advantage of the free food." She points towards where she suspects the food stalls are. Noticing the bags in Break's hands, she looks over them curiously.

"I see that you found some nice things?"
