[This dream, so soon after his own and their rather interesting conversation that had followed...leaves an unexpected twist of want curling low in his belly. It had been hard to believe that there really was some other place that had pulled a version of himself there - which shouldn't, really, given the fact that he was here in the first place - and yet here was the truth of it,sprawled across the Hitomi for all to see.
Because the way he looked at Kira, the hungry, predatory, look in his own eyes... the teasing way he taunted the man. All of it. It was him, to a 'T', down to the way he and the rather stunning woman had played with him by whispering like that, just to push him that little bit more off center and watch him squirm.
Another time and another place, Kira-kun...He drew a slow, carefully controlled breath before letting it out, then snapped the Hitomi back into a bracelet and slipped it onto his wrist before reaching over and snagging one of the stirring poles from the rack

The successful attempt at kidou that had previously been unavailable to him, the amount of time that had passed, everyone's persistent belief that this was a separate world, yet another for him to adjust to...
There was too much evidence for him to ignore especially now when that dream reminded him that his two weeks of safety were quickly approaching and... his cheek remained bare.
Would he have asked Raikou? If they were still there, still on Atollo with all the trappings of the Oasis at their disposal... would he have offered himself to his employer, his friend? He couldn't say for certain... but the thought had been there, only strengthened by his conversations with Gau,

Ah...well he was only here for a short time, honestly. Abarai-san, Kuchiki-san, and Ukitake-san were the ones that were here the longest.
[He pauses then, and finally cuts his own gaze up to eye the man at the other end of the Hitomi, then finally sighs. Because this can't have been an easy transition from a place like that to here. Not at all.
And Kira seems nice - soft-spoken, easily flustered, and sincere - which is why Raikou finally comes to a decision and flicks the Hitomi over to private. More out of respect for Kira's already abused privacy than a need to protect the appearance of his own actions.]

[As soon as he hears Gau's voice from the hitomi, startling Kira from the half asleep state he'd fallen into, he has to shove down a moment of panic. No... no it couldn't have. He scrambles for the device, not entirely awake still but as soon as he reaches the hitomi all sleepiness vanishes in his wide-eyed, horrified reaction. He remembers the dream well enough that he doesn't need to replay it which is obvious from the blush that burns its way over his face.
And now here is Gau, sweet young Gau blushing and asking him a question that makes his heart ache a little. If this... if this really is their "Kannagara" and no longer Atollo... that one opportunity he'd denied the younger man may have been his only chance to steal a kiss from him. He was torn. unsure if he should merely feel saddened that he'd likely never get another chance or if he should actually regret passing up the one he had been given. Though he knew that if he'd given in and kissed him then it would've felt empty, he'd have felt used and it would likely have tainted

However he was still unused to these devices and with his mind still clouded with sleep and occupied with the dream he immediately flicks it on to video.]
