[He is not in Antiva. He sits up, amber eyes warily taking in the bucolic beauty around him, so different from the bustle, the noise of Antiva city. The quiet is... disturbing almost, and reminds of him of the quest against the Blight

Hey.
[Okay, so maybe he's not the most enthusiastic greeter out there. There's a shrug of wide shoulders.]
The magic at hand seems to be the power of gods who have a thing for taking people away from their home worlds and dropping them here, in this land we call Kannagara.

[Pauses, then just laughs for a moment, rubbing at his temple.]
Like a child playing with dolls, no? [Sighs a little.] And I assume that people have already tried to escape and it is impossible?

[Not that he thought they had particularly been trying lately, but still. Touya was pretty sure Yuui had probably tried before his brother appeared. And he knew some others had tried.]
They do sometimes send people home, but it seems to be at their whim.

...Wonderful. Maker's breath, what do people do around here then?

You're in a place called Kannagara. People are brought here from other worlds, sometimes. I can't offer you a way out, but I can try to answer any questions you might have.

[The smile fade though, his face turning serious as he asks]
This place...does it have some kind of ruler? Or is it utterly lawless?

I suppose that the ones who bring us here are the rulers, but there aren't any set laws. They do occasionally intervene, but for the most part they do not interact with us directly. The natives probably have a system of laws.

[ Hi, mysterious, slightly non-human-looking person, have a Juudai. He's seen that a couple other people have already begun the "this is Kannagara and blah blah blah" part of the welcome speech, so he's just going to jump right into a conversation with you. ]

He cuts of that line of thinking. Something to contemplate later.]
She is the spiritual wife of the Maker, the one who founded the chantry and lead the rebellion against the Tevinter, destroying the Magister. [He cocks his head, and thinks again, about this whole, different world thing.]
Though I suppose that just raised more questions than it answered.

Blink.

Uh, I haven't heard of any of those things...

[Pauses, a bit of a smile twitching at the corner of his full mouth.]
Andraste was a prophet, partial deity, savior, and martyr to most of the people in my world. Does that help clear up matters at all?

[It's a small child! Isn't he adorable?]
That's your Hitomi! The Hitomi is powerful magic, but don't worry. It never breaks. It sends messages to everyone!
What's your name? Do you come from somewhere cold? Who's Andraste? Do you really know how to use those knives? I'm not allowed to touch knives, but Kurogane told me he was allowed to when he was my size, so I don't see why.
...
My name's Fai!

....Do you want me to answer all those questions? [Voice wry, but the corner of his mouth curls up, and he reels off the answers, imitating the quick-fire questioning.]
I'm Zevran. I do not actually come from a cold place, quite the opposite. Andraste is the mortal wife of our Maker. And yes, I know how to uses these. [The smile on his face widens.]

[Fai grins at the answers, and returns his own, not missing a beat.]
It's always cold, where I'm from. It's nicer here in Kannagara Country, I think. Everything's very green. If you have a Maker, does that mean you're a Golem? Yuui's been teaching me, and I read about how people can make Golems, which are almost like real people, except a little different. I've never met one, but Yuui says I can try making one later, when I'm older.
It's difficult magic.

Ahh...The Maker is my God, see? He created me, and gave my soul substance and distinction, but he does that for every creature that lives. I'm not some kind of magical construct.
[Mulls over the other's words for a moment, and then asks] Difficult magic...meaning that you, yourself can use magic?
