[ Allen sort of appears to have come out of nowhere, and materialized near a fountain. He looks around, confused. ]
This isn't where I meant to be! I meant to go back, not…where is this, anyway?
[ He looks around, and the golem following him sweeps down towards the recording device. The video shakes, and goes dark for a minute, as the golem picks

Wonder what he would think of hearing he has in fact been gone for quite a while--
No.
He's not talking as if he has been here before.
The excitement drops fairly quickly, and Lavi frowns at the recording. Ah... So Kannagara wiped his memory too, huh? After all the times he has gone and come back... it's time for that now? It has happened to plenty of people but never... to someone he has known, actually. Especially not someone so close to him.
It's oddly... disheartening? To know that he has all these fond memories to look back on that Allen won't remember. But then... Raikou came back without memories and then got them back, right? Maybe it could be done again ( ... )

He'll just put on a smile and greet Allen without trying to freak him out by saying he has been here before when he doesn't remember (although who knows if anyone else will remember to be that considerate), and slowly explain things. Yeah. As for what happens after that...
Well.
One step at a time.]
Hey, Allen! Welcome to Kannagara.

So, anyone's given you any info about the place? There's a bit to tell ya.

He knew Gilbert before. But apparently... doesn't remember being here? Well, that wouldn't be a first. Hm. Well.
Elliot figures he might as well greet him. Just in case.]
I take it you don't remember this place?

What was your name?

But then he realization that he's talking as if he's never seen a Hitomi before.
All he can think is why? Why keep bringing them back if the gods are going to reset their memories? Why take away that important tactical knowledge - much less the knowledge they have of each other?
Weren't they supposed to be learning to understand each other better here or something?
So...whyHe doesn't know and for the moment his frustration and anger over this loss within a loss is simply too great for him to even attempt to speak to this man wearing Allen's smile and Allen's voice and Allen's eyes to say a single damned thing to him ( ... )

Still, at the very core, Allen Walker. Someone who held a perfected mask to his face, paper mache and porcelain to hide behind, most likely. A kid that, now that he was here, would have to learn to survive the twists and turns all over again.
Though, Raikou has no doubt - it's not a task he'll have to attempt alone.
Lavi, Lenalee, Rin, Gau... he knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they would each extend a hand. And if the ones that knew him best, from this world and their own could bury their own feeling to do so... how could he do no less?
It's with that thought that Raikou's features set into a calm mask of serenity, of friendly concern, as he smiles at the Hitomi.]
Welcome back to Kannagara, Walker-san. Even if it is your first time here, you'll find many people still remember you. Are you alright?

Was I...really here before? I seriously don't remember at all, I'm sorry.

If nothing else, it might give you an idea on why so many people are greeting you fondly.

But the impulse fades when he sees Walker's reaction to the Hitomi. As if he'd never seen one before...
Which means the Gods have no doubt brought him back without any memories of this place. Ginko doesn't want to tell the boy immediately about that... it'll be disorienting enough adjusting to this new place--provided Walker isn't from a similar point in his world--and besides, he was quite perturbed to learn that about himself.
So, when he finally finishes watching the video over again, all he says is,] Welcome to Kannagara. Things are a bit... stranger than usual right now, but I can tell you the basics you need to know. Or you could ask someone else.
[He's sure Walker will get lots of offers from his friends.]

[ Even though he's already heard it, he doesn't mind another confirmation. It isn't that he doesn't trust his friends, it's just so much to take in. ]

That's right. Or... almost right. They aren't exactly 'gods' as you be thinking of that word--more like very powerful beings. Nearly all-powerful from our perspective, I'm given to understand, which I suppose could amount to the same thing...
[This conversation is a little bit surreal, considering it was Walker who told him this. But Kannagara's basic method of operation seems to be making things as surreal as possible. You get used to it.]

But...so many people here are people I know back home, so I guess it's hard to decide what's better.

[Have you expected an unfriendly face? This might exceed your expectations. Kanda's glare is downright hateful and inspeacting as he eyes the screen for a while before finally speaking.]
You again. Mistake, huh. What were you aiming for, Noah's teaparty?
[Yup, quite bitter there. Doesn't help his last memory from their own world is murderous hate. Then again, lack of tact would be a given anyway.]

What the hell, Noah's teparty? I am not a goddamn Noah, bakanda, where have you been! I helped you and now I'm a Noah, are you kidding?
Reply
Yes you are. You have a Noah's memory and you went away along with them.
[Beware the logic.]

But right now, I'm not a Noah or an Exorcist. I'm just figuring things out. So get it through your head!
I'm not your enemy, Kanda.
