Changes Coming, Watch Out!
The winds of change are blowin'. Because it wasn't enough to get married in less than six months time, I'm also changing jobs for the first time in nine years. On December 7th, I'm transferring within Pixar from the Mac team to the Render Pipeline Group.

sleeps
Not sleeping well for the past week or so and I don't really get it. It's not even like I'm having horrible insomnia. It's just a restless sleep filled with lots of little wakes and anxious dreams. Independence Day Camping
We decided to celebrate Independence Day by going camping for the first time this year. Dan suggested we visit Gumboot or Mumbo Lake, in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Morning Transit Travails
Walk out to the bus stop this morning and took a seat beside the kid with the 48" x 36" science fair poster (poor kid!). We wait a bit, the bus arrives about 10 minutes late. Not awful but I know it'll be enough to make me miss my BART connection. After the kid struggles up with his awkward poster I walk on and hold my Translink up to pay. ( Read more... )
