So a couple of weeks ago tomorrow I got a ticket in Addison for expired registration. The cop told me I had two weeks to take care of it. Like an idiot I didn't look at the ticket to make sure that was correct

Use a lunch hour and fax all the information to them from work? Or do they require that you appear in person? Usually you can fax them your current registration papers and license, and then call to make sure they've received it, and pay a fine via debit card over the phone.

But yes, they will start coming after you, and they do come to your place of work, even - and if you can keep it from going into warrant status, you can keep the fine down, too.

yea, you have some time after the grace period before it goes to warrant status. As long as you give them money, they will be happy.
