i don't know what to feel...
It still surprises me how easily someone can say with full confidence that your loved one has 48 hours to live. I wonder if it should make it easier. Is knowing supposed diminish the pain of the actual passing? Or is it a warning to enjoy whatever final moments you can muster of what is just a shadow of the person he was. christmas woes...
mom's heart constantly broke nursing these kids in "Kulana Malama," a home for youth with long term health care needs (where i will carol in a moment). she quit.
sister's heart constantly broken having to spend time away from her daughter, about to turn 1, while she was sick and needing her mother. she quit.

beautiful evening...
following what was the worst storm we've had in a while was the most beautiful sunset. it was the most breathtaking site. i sat outside the clubhouse in awe until the sun fully set. as the sun set, everything turned beautiful hues of orange and red. it was a welcome site following a gloomy week and a flourescent lit office life. it also makes me ( Read more... )
