Alright, so guess who took it upon himself to prepare a sushi lunch for his family? ;D I taught my mom how to do the maki and futomaki rolls, and we had fun fixing up the meal in general. ... but I don't care, cause now I finally got my workout equipment indoors. ^w^ *squee!*
It took a bit of thinking and creative use of what resources I had at my disposal, but I was able to engineer an arrangement that lets me make the most of my limited space, and is still passably safe to live in. ^^;

And the lesson for today is: when tangling with a water pipe that won't close, don't waste your time unless you have access to the cut-off valve. The water pressure will always win and leave you manliness and pride a sodden, drippy mess.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go wring more water out of my tail. ¬¬

Today as I headed out to work, the sky was overcast, but wasn't raining. Halfway to work it suddenly starts POURING literal sheets of water and since I don't want to be late, I forge on and arrive at work drenched. Spend 2 hours in cold, clammy pants since I'm only able to change my shirt. Not a fun night. Then in the morning, as I'm heading back ( Read more... )
