On my world, we have many many gods and demons, and hosts of lesser spirits ... I'm not sure what that's called. Most of them are nature spirits, some are ancestor spirits, pretty much everything has a spirit. Most people offer sacrifices to them, or at least do little things to make them happy, probably to get blessings or turn away their wrath.

Only a few of the gods actually give rules though, I think that's the big difference between my world and what I've read about others. The Knights are one, they're the spirits of five swords who teach chivalry and honor. And the five dragons created the world, they represent the elements, and the people they created have lots of rituals ... I'm not familiar with them ... they're sort of the enemies of my country.

I could definitely provide a memorial service, and I think that's a great idea. Thank you for the idea.
That sounds rather complicated. Do you have any particular beliefs?

I was raised Chivalrous ... its sort of tough to not believe in it you know? But I don't think I can be that honorable ... I don't really feel a connection to any of the spirits ... at least not personal. I don't want to pretend to honor them if I don't really feel it.

We have temples and shrines where you can ask spirits for good stuff too though.

Worshiped a bug.
They named it Slither. Passed around pamphlets claiming it to be godly and monstrous.

[That's just bizarre.]

I wanna point out that I got to clean Slither off my shoes.
