I don't know if it's because it snowed, or if because the snow hasn't melted at all, but it's been really cold. Maybe colder than usual. From heat domes and wildfires to floods and extreme cold. It's depressing what this means.

Snow!
It actually snowed! On Christmas!
I don't remember having a White Christmas before. Usually it doesn't snow until January in Vancouver. It's usually just rain. Maybe sleet or freezing rain at most.
Apparently it snowed on Christmas back in 2008? I don't recall that - maybe I didn't count it because it turned into sleet or rain? Or it didn't ( Read more... ) -

I don't know why, but for the past few years, I keep getting this random itchy welts on my body when winter comes around. At first I thought it was a dust allergy, but it's like... a regular winter thing now? My mom tells me to just apply white flower oil to relieve the itching. Apparently in calculator font, today's date is also an ambigram? So if you turn it upside, it's still the same? By that logic though, the other palidrome day (12/02/2021) also was an ambigram day.

There are days when getting an email with a cake picture is awesome
I don't know how to feel about being this age, but I guess when you start to reach the middle, you don't find it that momentous. But I got two really nice messages from some coworker friends, so that made me feel happy (especially since it was another day battling the VPN and wifi connection while teleworking).
