I'm going to Vegas.....
So I must be mad but I'm going to Sin City 2 weekend in Vegas with Steve Carlson, I can hardly believe that in 11 weeks I'll be there. 3 sleeps...
So it's only 3 sleeps until my friend from LA finally arrives on English soil, 24 years, almost to the day, since I met her in Hollywood. I am beyond excited about it. I've a got a bit of a roadtrip planned with her and the boy for the end of the month to show her some of the sights - London, Stonehenge, Oxford, Cotswolds, Peak district etc ( Read more... ) -
Its Friday
So after 2 hours hard slog in the gym this afternoon a thought struck me - "I hope Christian "fucking" Kane is bloody worth all this"- What if he turns out to be a complete dick? Friday and Saturday passed me by...
So finally on Sunday I get to reflecting on how amazing Thursday was. Steve was incredible, I met some great people and I had a ball with my god-daughter. However I do not recommend 12 hours of drinking Jack and tequila with a 19 year old student when you've long moved past 40. The recovery time is definitely longer nowadays ( Read more... ) -

So it struck me yesterday, after I picked up my son from the childminder and he demanded Whiskey in Mind on for the drive home, that a Kane education may not be good for him. Loving the gym
So my gym instructor must be a sadist as my new gym regime is brutal. But it is working as I've lost another 8 pounds in the last 4 weeks making a total weight loss on the "Kane" diet of 31 pounds this year. I actually feel hopeful of wearing jeans again. I'm the lightest I've been in 13 years and if I lose another 4 pounds I'll be the lightest ( Read more... ) -
