Day one of training for the home depot is down. It was a long day. I left the house about 7:20, scraped the windows of the car and made it to tigard to the training center. There are about 30 people in the class from different home depots around the area. There were (I think) 3 people besides me from my store. I was one of the oldest people

I hope it continues to go well! :) I worked there eons ago for about 6 weeks and had to quit. Only because the store was chronically shortstaffed and the training they kept promising never materialized as they needed me on the floor. I'd consider going back if I knew they'd really changed. There's also Lowes out here which seems decent too. Not that I'm changing jobs..just meant that as a retail scenario both companies look decent to work for. Best of luck Joyc!! :)

Isn't that weird to suddenly be one of the old people? I've been noticing that happening to me, too, more and more, in the last few years. Especially when I turned 40 -- I think that made me notice it more.
