This post is basically a big brag! Demi and I were up at PackLeader farm for an AKC herding trial this weekend. We went in needing 1 single point to finish Demi's herding Championship and Demi didn't disappoint. Her run on Saturday took 29 minutes and she watched and worked the flock the entire time. I went to Utah to photograph some wild horses and visit my parents. What a great trip!!! Loved spending an entire day (well, 15 hours) following a herd of wild horses around. Three weeks ago Lexi came to stay with me while her family was out of town. Three days after she arrived I noticed she was drinking a ton of water and peeing all the time. So today's agility trial felt better even though I still managed to break our teamwork connection a couple times. In Standard I chose a front cross where I would have been better choosing a rear. What a tiring weekend. It started on Friday with me getting up at 4:30 in the morning so I could be on the road by 5:30AM. Off to Albany to the dog show where Demi was second up in Open B at 8AM.
