...Beautiful Sinners...
Part 3
Silently, Saga stared at the ceiling. Tears kept rolling down his smooth cheeks. Never before in his life, had he felt really scared, guilty, and regret. He was cheating on Reita, his own lover. What Reita would do if he figured it out? Would he break up with him?
Of course, he would, Saga.
His own thought told him and Saga couldn’t help but cry harder. Saga turned on his side and found that Tora still had his eyes closed. He was still asleep and didn’t even know that Saga was regretting what they had done last night. Finally, Saga sat up. He bent down to take his shirt and jeans. Then, he got off the bed, heading to the bathroom.
~20 minutes later~
Saga had now fully dressed. He wore the same shirt and jeans as yesterday. Tora was still sleeping when Saga exited the bathroom. Then, Saga walked out from Tora’s bedroom, heading to the living room. He caught a sight of his mobile phone that lay on the table. He took it and found that there were five missed calls. Saga checked them and found that they were all from Reita. Saga’s heart flinched. He sat down on the sofa and hid his face between his raised-up knees.
I’m sorry, Reita. I’m really sorry...
Soon, Saga looked up. He knew he had to leave now. Then, he stood up, walking towards Tora’s bedroom again. Tora was still in the same position as earlier. Slowly, Saga stepped forward to him. He sat on the edge of Tora’s bed, examining Tora’s face. Saga wanted to cry again, but he held back his tears. He put one of his hands beside Tora’s head as he leant down to Tora’s face. He kissed the sleeping man softly on the lips and at the same time, Saga felt pain in his heart. A single tear managed to fall down onto Tora’s face. Saga moved to whisper in Tora’s ear. Then, after he was done, he finally left Tora’s flat.

Tora opened his eyes. He stared at the plain ceiling blankly.
“Please, don’t love me.”
Saga’s words kept repeating in his mind. His voice sounded really sad when the bassist whispered those words to him. Without him even realising it, Tora had been crying silently.
Is it wrong if I love him?

Reita waited for the lift to open. Today, he didn’t come to Saga’s apartment block to pick him up as he usually did. Reita still didn’t want to believe in Uruha’s words about Saga cheating on him. However, if Saga really did, Reita wanted Saga to tell him by himself. The lift opened and Reita stepped in. He pressed the button and soon the lift was closing again. That was when he saw Saga. The other bassist had just arrived, apparently. Quickly, Reita pressed the open button to prevent the lift from closing as he called out Saga’s name. Saga saw him and he had a guilty expression on his face. Reita motioned to Saga to get inside the lift with him, which he did reluctantly.
“Ohayou, Saga.”
“Ohayou, Reita.”
The situation between them was really awkward. Saga kept bowing his head, refusing to look at Reita. Reita sighed and then suddenly he pulled Saga into an embrace. Saga flinched at first. He didn’t hug Reita back. He heard Reita speak to him.
“You look sad. What’s going on?”
Although Reita did know what was going on with his lover, he wanted Saga who told it to him. Deep inside his heart, Reita hoped that Saga would say something like: “I’m okay, Reita. Don’t worry about me.” Nevertheless, his hope never came true. Saga slowly gave in to his embrace as he said, “... I’m sorry, Reita.”
Right at that time, Reita felt really painful inside his heart. Only right now, he wanted Saga to tell a lie to him. However, with those three words from the other bassist, Reita knew that Uruha had told him the truth.
If knowing the truth feels so painful like this, I’d prefer to know only lies.
Saga had been crying on Reita’s shoulder. Reita didn’t brush his fingers on Saga’s hair or even pat Saga’s back as he usually did whenever Saga felt sad. Reita felt sad too. He had no one to comfort him right now. The ding sound signed them that they had reached their floor. Then, the lift opened. Reluctantly, Reita parted them apart and then stepped out. He didn’t even look back at Saga as he walked ahead.
“Reita...?”
Saga called out to him but Reita kept walking, leaving him alone. Saga choked by his own sobs as he wiped his tears away from his eyes. He realised that Reita was so angry with him right now.

Uruha was walking out from the men’s toilets when he bumped into someone who was also just coming in. That person seemed to not care that he had bumped into Uruha. Uruha didn’t really mind it, though. Nevertheless, he thought that at least, that person had to apologise to him. He turned around again to talk to that person when he noticed that it was Saga. Uruha managed to see that Saga was crying as the bassist then disappeared into the last stall. Uruha looked around to make sure that there was no one near the men’s toilets. Quietly, he closed the door and walked approaching the last stall. He heard sobs.
Why is he crying? Did Reita dump him?
Uruha had no idea why suddenly he felt satisfied.
That’s what you got if you dare ruin other’s relationship, whore!
Some part of Uruha’s mind was laughing but another one was worried. Why did he think that? After what had happened to him last night, Uruha hated Saga, of course. However, he knew that it wasn’t Saga’s entire faults. It was Tora’s. Saga never asked Tora to love him and cheat on Reita behind their backs. However, the hatred had won and made Uruha lose his right sense. The guitarist turned around, searching for something. Then, he saw a long steel stick lying on the floor. Uruha didn’t care what that thing was. He took it and then hesitantly stepped closer to the last stall door. He put the stick across the door and stuck one of the edges onto the door handle. He stepped backwards, looking at his works and then left. Before he exited the toilets, Uruha heard Saga’s voice.
“Is there anyone out there?”
Uruha’s heart started beating fast. He looked a bit guilty. However then, he finally left before he turned the lights off.
You can’t get out from there, Saga.

Tora entered the studio. He panted heavily since he had been running from the car park. Nao, Shou, and Hiroto looked at him curiously.
“Ohayou, Tora.”
Hiroto greeted him, but Tora just walked past him towards the sofa. He saw Saga’s bass case lying above it. Then, he turned around to his band mates.
“Where’s Saga?”
Nao stopped from his current activity and talked to Tora.
“Now that you mention it, Tora... Do you know what’s happening to him? He arrived around fifteen minutes ago. He put his bass case here and then just left. He didn’t even reply to my question.”
“And he’s crying, Tora,” Shou added.
Tora was so surprised when Shou said that Saga was crying when he left. A panic look appeared on his face.
“Where did he go?”
“Maybe he’s in the toilets now,” Hiroto answered.
Tora gritted his teeth. He put his guitar down and then went out from the studio. The others just shrugged confusedly. In the narrow hallway to the men’s toilets, Tora bumped into someone. It was Uruha. They stopped for a while and stared at each other. Tora glared at Uruha whilst Uruha tried to avoid Tora’s glare on him. Then, Uruha left. Tora was still staring at the other guitarist’s back curiously.
Why did he look afraid like that? Is he hiding something?
Tora didn’t want to think about it as he finally entered the toilets.
~*~
Saga heard a sound. The sound came from the stall door he was using. He stood up, grabbed at the door handle, and unlocked it. It didn’t open. Saga was thinking fast. Was he locked up here?
“Is there anyone out there?”
Saga asked, but nobody answered his question. He began to panic. Saga kept trying to unlock the door but to no avail. Then suddenly, the lights were turned off. Saga gasped in surprise. He knocked repeatedly and hoped somebody would hear him.
“Somebody... Help me, please.”
Saga swallowed hardly. Usually, he wasn’t scared of being in darkness like this. Nevertheless, it was just... different. Needless to say, Saga was feeling down, he couldn’t think properly. Saga realised that he had been shaking from head to toe. He stepped backwards and squatted down as he embraced himself.
Tora... Where are you?
~*~
Tora entered the toilets and found that the lights were all turned off. He walked further, searching for Saga. Then when he arrived in front of the last stall, he saw that a long steel stick was blocking the door. Quickly, he removed the stick and opened the door. Much to his surprise, Tora found Saga who was squatting down and his whole body was shaking. The bassist’s head looked up when he noticed that the door was opened.
“Saga?”
“Tora...”
Tora noticed Saga’s voice was also shaking. Tora knelt down too and then Saga threw himself onto Tora’s embrace. The bassist hugged him really tight.
“Tora... Thank God, you found me.”
“Sshh, Saga. Calm down. I’m here for you.”
“I was really scared, Tora.”
“Yes, I know that. Now, please stop crying.”
Tora said as he brushed his fingers on Saga’s light brown hair. Saga’s hand clenched at his shirt and his tears soaked up into Tora’s shirt.
“Who has done this to you, Saga?”
“I... I don’t know,” Saga said between his sobs.
Then, Tora remembered when he bumped into Uruha. Uruha looked so scared. Did he...?
“C’mon, Saga. I know who has done this to you.”
Saga looked up at Tora. The guitarist looked really angry right now. Saga didn’t mind when Tora pulled him up and held his hand. Tora walked ahead with his hand attached to Saga’s. Saga lifted his other hand to wipe his tears away. Minutes later, they had arrived in front of the GazettE’s practice room. Saga’s eyes widened in surprise. Why did Tora bring him here? Then, Tora opened the door really hard, he almost broke it. Their hands were still attached to each other and Saga could feel how angry Tora was right now. All the GazettE’s members looked surprised at their sudden appearance. Especially Reita and Uruha. Kai stood up from behind his drum kits and stepped forward to Tora.
“Hey, guys. What’s going on?”
Tora pushed Kai back and continued walking towards Uruha. Next thing Saga knew, Tora released his hand and he landed his fist on Uruha’s face. All gasped loudly, including Saga.
“Tora, what the fuck?!”
Reita shouted at Tora as he quickly pulled Uruha up. Tora glared at him then.
“Shut your fucking mouth up! This is none of your business!”
“This is my business! Uruha is my friend!”
Tora ignored Reita and stepped forward to Uruha. He was going to hit the other guitarist again, but Reita stepped in-between them at the right time.
“You can’t do that to him! Let’s talk about it.”
“Talking is useless. Now, get out from my sight!”
“Tora, stop!”
Saga pulled Tora from behind. That was when Reita noticed his lover’s presence.
“Saga? What are you doing here?”
“Reita, I can explain everything to you. Now, please...”
“This whore has locked Saga up inside the toilets!”
Tora suddenly exclaimed as he pointed at Uruha. Instantly, everybody’s mouth gaped open. They were really shocked after hearing Tora’s words. Reita turned to face Uruha who had his head bowed down.
“Uruha, is it true?”
Reita was looking at him in disbelief. Uruha still refused to look up. Until Reita grabbed his shoulders.
“Speak, Uruha! Tell me, is it true?”
Uruha finally looked up. His face flushed red because of his tears and anger.
“Yes, it’s true! So what? He deserves that!”
Reita gasped silently. He never thought that Uruha would do such things. Kai then spoke up.
“Guys, Reita’s right. Let’s talk about it.”
“No, Kai. This is our business. We’ll talk outside.”
Reita said coldly and motioned to Tora, Saga, and Uruha to exit the practice room. Soon, they were all already in the corridor. Reita noticed that Saga was tugging at Tora’s shirt whilst Tora’s hand was still holding Saga’s other hand. Both Saga and Uruha had their heads bowed down. Tora looked down at Reita with his pierced eyes. Reita looked back at him, challenging him. Then, Tora spoke up.
“I want him to take the responsibility.”
“Now, who are you talking like that, huh? If it’s true that Uruha locked up Saga, I should be the one who gets angry. Not you!”
“Reita...”
“Silence, Saga!”
Reita said without looking at Saga. Both Tora and Reita were so angry right now. Saga couldn’t stay silent like this anymore. He must do something. Therefore, he stepped in-between Tora and Reita.
“Don’t fight anymore, you two. I... I’m not angry at Uruha-san. Please, forgive him.”
Uruha looked up. His eyes widened in surprise hearing Saga’s words. Within Saga’s eyes, Uruha could tell that Saga was asking for his help. Then, Saga turned around to Tora and talked to him.
“C’mon, Tora. Please.”
Tora looked down at Saga. If it were Saga who asked him to stop, then he would do it. On the other hand, Uruha was doing the same to Reita. Reita still looked angry though, but he nodded at Uruha. Saga turned to face Reita again. He opened his mouth to talk.
“... I’m sorry, Reita. I promise I will explain everything to you later. You will hear me, won’t you?”
Reita didn’t answer, but he nodded slowly. Then Uruha pulled him, walking in to the practice room again. Somehow, Saga felt painful when he saw Uruha holding Reita’s hand and how Reita followed him obediently. Was it what Uruha felt when he saw Tora kiss Saga? Was it what Reita felt when he saw Tora hold Saga’s hand protectively? Were they just the victims of these messed-up relationships? Saga’s mind was filled by thoughts of what had happened the entire times. He felt dizzy. He lifted his hand up and massaged his temple. Tora noticed that and then he stepped closer to the bassist.
“Saga, are you okay?”
“... Yes, I’m-”
Before Saga could finish his sentence, he had already fainted. Looking surprised, Tora caught him at the right time before the bassist fell to the floor. Tora called Saga’s name but the bassist remained motionless in his arms.
