Thanks for the info!! I've been lucky in a way that I'm hypoglycemic since I cannot go a few hours without eating or I get dizzy and nauseous and get a headache and that's the best for you health wise (although a pain at long rink or competition days). My stomach is small physically too and since I eat lighter foods that tend, for the most part, to be lower in calories I need refueling frequently. I always eat really balanced meals in the morning and make sure I have my protein and leave my snack bars (which have sugar) for later, but not because I knew it was good for you- I just did it because if I eat sugar and not protein/balanced in the mornings I get MEGA acid stomach leik omg whoa. So I guess my body does know the right thing....and glad to know it IS the right thing! I tell my students (because I want them to eat breakfast before skating in the mornings) "if you don't put gas in the car, how is it going to GO?". lol

Thanks for looking up the info for me!! *glomps*

Huh, very good information.

I think I do all right then. Maybe I need to eat more breakfast sandwiches instead of cereal. LOL. This is definitely making me think about the choices I make.

*hugs
