E-Phit and Breakfast

Hey there! A couple of you who have been following my progress asked about how many calories one should eat at breakfast. I asked Whitney and here is her response:

There isn't an exact amount of calories you should eat at breakfast but I would shoot for between 350 to 450. One of the important things about eating enough at breakfast is that it can help prevent you from over eating at your next meal. You may want to also think about adding some protein, such as a boiled egg or some peanut butter, to your breakfast and a piece of fruit.

So, I guess it's true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day!! Also, something interesting that Ali shared with me when we met is...your body is preparing for these calories all night while you are sleeping and so if you don't give it enough or if you eat pure sugary items, it spikes your blood sugar and you crash soon after. The goal is to keep a steady burn throughout the day and not make your body work harder by spiking up and down erratically. This can lead to being very tired and also to headaches.

ETA: Below you will find a link about a balanced breakfast!!
