Good morning everyone and happy Friday!! I had a really nice visit with Whitney this morning. I think the problem last time was that both of us were sick and out of it and we are both quiet...so neither of us really had the energy or cared to talk. You're making me want to get my fat ass back on my diet. LOL. I need to and I almost had it this week, but damn what a week it was.

The perplexing thing to me is my calories. How can they be going DOWN? I am not even close to my 2039. HAHAHA

hehehe. I'd have to see your food log to answer that question for you. It's definitely interesting because of the carbs and fats you had week 1. That's usually where calories come from so... *shrugs. But good on you. :) That's mah girl!

I also thought when I was eating pop tarts for breakfast that would take a lot of my calories but Ali was like, "OMG that's not enough calories for breakfast!" LOL

Things keep surprising me. I guess because I never really paid much attention to calories...just points. LOL

I should have kept copies of my food logs, but I haven't. Hindsight. LOL

Good job, girl! I am actually thinking about studying nutrition so these posts have been interesting to me. :-)

ETA: also, wow, your LJ header just gave me the sort of Don Eppes feels I haven't had in YEARS. Sigh.

I feel like I should be sending you daily emails or something. However, I do think of you...every time I eat (food=diet=E-phit). Also it makes me feel better to see how many calories you are supposed to eat because people are always saying to me "oh I ate my 1,300 calories today" or "you're only supposed to eat 1,200 calories" or whatever and Lord, I'd be eating my arm by 5pm. Maybe when I was a neurotic 15 yr old I could starve myself but not now, especially when I have such a physical job and am chasing after or hauling kids all day. I know I gain weight when I don't work because I hate exercising (why my job is perfect, because it doesn't feel like exercise). But yeah, if I'm hungry I need to eat. I actually wake up starving and eat most of my food through the morning hours (I can't eat a ton at once but eat little bits through the day). I mean, I eat produce and egg whites and rice cakes and rice based snack bars and that's it, so I have a fairly healthy diet, but my calorie intake is usually around 1,900 give or take. It's been a sort of tough week (and it's just Monday, that's probably not a good sign ;) ) but maybe things will get better. I hope, anyway! ;) I'm feeling slightly like my icon at the moment, lol! ;)
