This week started with me trying to be a little more conscious of what I am eating and moving in the direction of taking better care of myself. It's so much more convenient to NOT do it, but I know it's in my best interest and so I am giving it another shot ( Read more... )

That is really great. I do Yoga every Thursday night and it is really great. Clears the mind, etc... Plus, it's funny to do all the positions and watch others.

It is so much easier just to not do it, but in the end it is so much more rewarding to stick to it.

Sadly, I do not have a Lfit class this semester at UNC. Which means I'll be at the gym every day by myself, instead. I do, however, have 3 history classes.

Yeah, I used to do this yoga routine by these guys from New Zealand before I went to bed and it's really my favorite one that I've ever done...but it takes about an hour to get all the way through and I don't have the motivation to take that much time out to do it. I know I should since it's good for my well-being...I am just not to that point yet. LOL

3 history classes in one semester???

Yup. I have Latin, Poli Sci 100, Hist: The World Since 1945, Hist: Ancient Cities and Classical: Romancing the World.

But no classes before 10am. Yay.

Good for you except you are not supposed to weigh yourself every day. Your weight fluctuates as much as 5 pounds and you get discouraged. Once a week is recommended.

haha...that's what Candi told me...well, she recommended weighing myself only once a week. Thanks for the advice. I'll revise that part of my plan...I don't need any more discouragement, that's for sure. hahaha I sabotage myself enough! : )

I do it every day except Saturday and Sunday usually. I walk on those days.

Right now, just AM yoga...but I am hoping to work my way up to doing more extensive yoga.
